I just bought these and went on a day hike the same day. There was no break-in time at all. Very comfortable right from the get go. They fit my feet like no other boot has fit before - Amazing! I have long narrow feet, so I am not sure how people with very wide feet would find these. They kept me dry after walking miles in the snow, and there wasn't a sign of sweat anywhere. They are super-light, but feel very sturdy. I guess the real review should come in a year or two, I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Very, Very impressed. They were on sale at REI for $119, so I think I got a decent deal.
