Nice and light, a good nice weather bag. Had some stitching come loose, but Sierra replaced the bag w/o hassle. Excellent choice for light use/good conditions.

I have a wild bill. It is the most comfortable bag ever made. The polar guard is awsome. One of my best friends has the exact same thing. He loves his too. This is one good investment.

I have a wild bill sleeping bag it is one awsome bag. It is one of the lightest bags out there. My friend has a North Face bag and says he likes mine better. I have been cold sometimes but I am always cold in winter. It is the softest bag ever made.

I think the Wild Bill is rated as a 15 degree bag, not 25 as noted above. This is a very comfy bag and very warm. the zipper gets stuck sometimes, but the new version has supposedly fixed that. Durability is good, but not great. I had some stitching come apart, but I think that was my washing machine (oops).

I have had this sleeping bag for about a year now and have yet to feel cold in it. On a recent camping trip where overnight temperatures dipped into the low 30's I was perfectly content. The bag has held up well and is quite light and compressible. Overall a great 3 season bag for the money.

If I tell you how great this bag is does that mean there is no chance to win the Feathered Friends bag?
Great sturdy bag, I've used it in all four seasons (get a silk liner and climb in a tent and you can really take some cold). Seems bombproof and is a bargain too. The tall is still a bit narrow so be advised you other big guys. Check it out you won't be sorry. By the way I will never ever go back to down, synthetics rule the day.

I used to use The North Face Cat's Meow but found this bag much more to my liking.

I go backpacking every other weekend, and my SD Wild Bill goes with me. I had a TNF Cats Meow, and was un impressed with the comfort. The Wild Bill has the same specs and is much more comfortable, the Fleece linning around my face is nice. The price is very affordable for the quality of the product. It would be nice to go down a few more degrees, but I havent gotten yet

A great bag! Nice and light for a synthetic, moderately roomy for a bag of this weight, good details without going overboard on the extras, straightforward and sensible. What else do you need?

This sleeping bag has kept me warm and comfortable through some pretty bad weather. Last time I went up to Dorothy Lake (North Cascades Alpine Lakes Area) it started raining. The guys I went with complained about the cold but I was warm, comfortable, and slept undisturbed.

One of the lightest bags in it's category/temp. rating. Quite roomy in the feet/knees/upper torso regions, unlike the Kelty Serrento and TNF Cat's Meow. A warm bag, but I would have to question the 'down to 15 degree' rating that S.D.'s claims. I was in approximately 35 degree weather and it was getting aquite chilly, so I put my fleece over chest to act as a draft tube, it did the trick. It is however a versatile bag too,......you can use it in weather well above it's temperature rating without feeling like you are in an oven. Like all S.D.'s they have great attention to detail: it is well sewen in all sections, the draw chords are different colors and different shapes so you can distinquish which is the chest and head chord while in dark conditions, loops on the underside to strap to an air mattress will prevent you from sliding off the mattress, and of course the soft and warm to the touch fleece that surrounds the face opening. My only complaint is the piece of velcro that is sewen on the fleece portion at the top end of the zipper. If it is NOT in contact with it's mating velcro piece, it can and eventually will snag the rip stop nylon. This usually happens when I'm in climates that do not require me to zip to the top, the velcro tends to fold back and make contact with the nylon and eventually snagging it. Quite annoying when I have to yank on the velcro and pull strands of threads out with it.
