This bag is great, especially considering how cheap it is compared to others with similar specs. Got mine for $75 at a local store. Went camping lots last summer and fall; it's warm, tough, light, washes easy and dries quick (no down). With an insert (I got a Salt) it's warm even when the temp's in the teens. And it compresses easily to fit in my Lowe's bag compartment. An excellent choice. Similar Products Used: None |

very good and warm...cheap(100 bucks)... temp down to about 20 degees f. great loft, very fast drying, light and not too big...does anyone understand the horizontall compression straps?? had it down to 20 nice and toasty but needs good thermal protection underneath. quallo-fill filling very good, dries fast, love the dual seal top (hood and neck = 2 different drawstrings) also love the fiberban antibackterial additives... reduces the funkies. I like the bag a lot. It is warm down to about 20. However, I was a little chilled one night when it got to only about 25. It compresses really well. I like qualofil a lot and don't see any real advantage to polarguard. The qualofil is lighter and more compressable. The only negative I have is the zipper has to be closed fully from the top or it opens. You can avoid this problem by venting the lower zipper. Other than that it is well made and warm and light. Customer Service Sj's customer service is great. If you ever need to contact them about somethinng they give no hassles. Similar Products Used: all my bags are SJ. I like the value and never had a quality problem yet. I did have a problem with a tent pole and they sent replacements out that day so I know they stand behind there product. |
