It is a comfortable bag, but can only be used in the summer. I froze whenever the temperature was anywhere near freezing. The bag was also not wide enough to turn.

What can I say about this bag? Many are praising it for its comfort, compressibility, and ruggedness. However, I haven't seen many complain about the crampedness that this sleeping bag gives. I have been sleeping in mummies for over 7 years and this is the only one that ever made me claustrophobic. The knee area is really cramped and on the first night I decided to take it out and use it as a blanket; It was 40 degree and I was freezing really bad. Did not know what to do so a friend offered me to trade for the night. I wasn't really able to try it for its wamrth (as a mummy) but I will cast my lot with the majority's opinion

I read all the hundreds of reviews for this bag and many of them complained about the temp rating. I went to the Sierra this winter and true to the majority's opinion I was freezing to death on a 35degree weather at night, even though I had a therm-a-rest and a fleece jacket. I only felt okay after borrowing an extra bag from a friend of mine. Also, although no one seems to complain about it, is the fact that the foot box is extremely small and my legs soon got cramped in a few hours. Maybe that did not happen to others....

I cant say I was too impressed with this bag. Ive had an older TNF cats meow (made in Great Britain it says) and it was much better than this newer one. I this one out twice; once in 35-40deg and again in 30deg temps. I froze my butt off in this bag...even with thermals on! The Polarguard Delta is light and the bag stuffs fine into its stuffsack. It has nice features and would be great in the summer/late spring time but not in the fall/winter. The materials are very strong and Im sure this bag would last a long time, but Im dissapointed with the warmth rating. Not worth the money.

I recieved this about a year or two ago for my birtday and it is by far the best bag...period. I don't know why people are complaining about the warmth rating, I'm the guy that's always cold and I have had this bag down into the low 30's and high 20's (colder windchill)and been fine in sweats. The last time I used it I was in a tent that leaked, I and my sister got soaked (she was using a mt.hardware something). We woke up that morning and the tent was shreaded, poles broken, etc. I remained warm all night, we headed back to town because we had to get a tent and there where limps down everywhere, a really bad storm wiht 30+ mph winds. I can't say much more than I love this bag! It dries quickly, warm when wet, retains loft, compresses in to nothing, and WARM! (also great features) By far the best bag I or anyone in my outdoors family have ever owned. I say buy this bag, but get the tall, a little heavier but more comfortable. A GREAT TNF BAG, I LOVE IT!

I had an earlier version of the cats meow. I froze in it anytime the temperature got to freezing, not in the winter, just on a cold mountain night. The 20 degree rating is a joke, and I hear that it still is not considered a warm bag.

Can't really understand the complaints about the temp rating. I've had this bag out several times in the teens with only a light base layer and been very toasty. At six feet tall, I would take the extra few ounces and buy the long next time as I don't like my toes cramped. Yet another great bag from TNF.

I've had this bag for several years and have used it extensively. Even when new, it was only comfortable down to about 40deg. Very few people will be warm at its claimed rating of 20deg. Now, it's got very little loft and serves as a summer bag that's on the heavy side.

I Bought this bag on sale at campmor and have been impressed ever since. Took it to Mt. Rogers and the first night I was shivering, thinking that I had bought the crap of the lot and kicking myself in the butt for buying it, I eventually fell asleep. It was only until the next morning that I learn that the wind was 35+ knots and -10 deg.!!!! A little chilly, but still reasonably comfy at -10! Can''t say more about the features. The pocket in the hood for a pillow is a nifty idea, and was designed well. It is a little hard to compress into the stuff sack, but not that big of a problem. All in All, great bag.

Bought this bag since it was on sale and lot''s of good reviews here.. Used it in the warmth of June/July.. not bad... Took it with me in early fall and frooze.. For sure, not a 3 season bag unless you have lot''s of fur on you. Forget the stated warmth rating, way off.. what''s up with that? Will now need to find a bag that will cover the colder periods. Build quality is good... but for the warmth/weight ratio it''s pushing it. Wouldn''t want to haul this puppy and get caught in a sharp drop in conditions. Get it cheap or get rid of it like a bad date.
