I've used this stove primarily for car camping. I've not really had any problems with it. It's simple. Fill it in, pump it up, and light it. It also simmers very well. Similar Products Used: None |

This stove is O.K.. The biggest complaint I have about it is the pump and priming system. It is difficult and a pain when the temperature drops. Similar Products Used: None |

It boils water. It simmers pasta. I like my Feather 400. I always run it on white gas and have not had any problems as far as lighting the stove on fire and having leaks like the reviews further down the page! The one annoying thing is the evil necessity of pumping! That's one thing i could do without! Lately it's been a little finicky about simmering and seems to start with a 4 ft high yellow flame, and takes forever to pump; it still cooks though! I think the jets are dirty, i boiled over some pasta (oops!). I like the fact that you can converse around this stove, not like the MSR 'jet-fighter' Whisperlite! Four stars 'cause it could be a little lighter. Similar Products Used: One of my buddies has a Whisperlite, sure is not the name i would have picked for it! |

Usual pump/prime stove. I usually only use it in the fall/winter and have had no problems lighting it even after it has sat around for half a year in the garage. It has a good boil time. It's gotten beat around a bit and there have been no problems with it. Similar Products Used: This is the only stove I've used and am happy with it. |
