With the two side doors it is almost like being in two seperate tents. The opportunity for a very wide view is great. It seems to be a very natural shape for a tent and suits my camping style. Color is neat and packs down well. Customer Service I have had trouble with having the product arrive in a timely manner. An order placed for a sleeping bag was abandoned after waiting 5 months with promises of it being sent in a couple of days. Similar Products Used: The North Face and Coleman |

I love the design but was disappointed to find on the tent's first ever outing the fly was less than waterproof. Out of ten sunny, blue-sky idyllic Newfoundland days and nights there was only about 6-8 hours of light, moderately wind-driven rain, but even this relative smattering was enough to soak the fly through to the tent fabric. We stayed dry, unless we touched the wall fabric, which was sodden. I have yet to contact TNF, but I hope this isnt their idea of waterproof. Similar Products Used: None |

I've only had this tent for a little over a month, but have used it now on three occasions. I like the floorplan, plenty of room for two and some gear inside while boots and packs can fit in the dual vestibules. Dual doors prevent having to climb over your tentmate when entering or leaving thr tent. Stands up well to winds and rain. During heavy rain, entering or exiting the tent can be a bit tricky as the vestibule door is centered directly in front of the inner tent door. There-by making it difficult to prevent some rain from finding it's way in. Customer Service No problems with this tent, but I have had warranty work done on other T.N.F. products with no problems of any kind. I saw this tent and had to have it despite my passionate (I hope I spelled that right) hate for TNF. I use it at least twice a month for the last 3 months and it has held up beter than I expected. It is just the right size for me and a buddy to go out on the weekends w/ all our gear on a hike or climb. Similar Products Used: None |

ive had the tent coming up to a year so far its been great the floor plan is sweet dual doors lots of space easy setup bad points a little heavy but its worth it the vestiuble could be a tad bit bigger for when im climbing for all the extra gear but fine for back backing and when it is raining if you open the fly its hard to keep the rain off the tent other than that it is a great tent if its space and great floorplan your looking for this is it Similar Products Used: None |

I got the tent for some spring and summer camping, it's got great ventlation, so don't even think about fall or early spring camping. Fly leaks but can be sprayed, my tent came with like 4 stakes and 5 guy lines, pretty stingy North Face. Customer Service Customer service? HA! This tent is great! The hammerhead floor layout provides for a huge space for gear storage, both inside and out with the fly attached. It's one of the easiest TNF tents to set up, but is too heavy when travelling solo. I would heavily suggest spending the extra $50 or so for the Condor, which is the same tent in a 4-season set up. It's just as well ventilated, but can keep you warm in winter mountaineering conditions. Customer Service No experience with TNF's customer service. Their gear is awesome. After spending a few rainy nights in a much less well-designed tent, I bought my Peregrine and have loved every night in it since. Even a steamy summer night in my own backyard was comfortable due to the excellent venting capabilities. And if you pitch the fly with just the footprint, its even better! |

I bought this tent over a year ago and have loved it. I've used it in the Sierras as well as many Joshua Tree trips and it has been fantastic. The design makes windy nights no problem, and the double doors with there own vestibules is great. The hammerhead design makes gear storage inside very convenient. Overall, a great tent for backpacking and general camping, a little heavy but worth it. Similar Products Used: Sierra Designs Meteor Light CD, loved it but only one door in my model. |

I've had this tent for about 2 years now and I love it. It's stayed dry through several stormy days in Acadia, Maine and provided great ventilation on hot, humid nights in West VA. I recently took it on a fairly rough 14 mile overnight trip and the weight started to get to me. Do not get it if you plan on backpacking alone with it but for car camping or backpacking with a friend it's great. It's even roomie enough for a big guy like me to sleep in it with someone other than my girlfriend and not feel to close for comfort. Customer Service No problems here Similar Products Used: North Face Lunarlight and Starlight |
