The bod is the best harness I have ever worn. It was the first harness I ever purchased, simply because it has a great price. I later purchased an Arcteryx that has just sat in my box of gear. You won't find a better harness for any of your climbing endeavors. I have used it from sport rock to high mountain. Pure function!

great harness. make sure you get the right size so the buckle is not straight in front of you. That can make you flip over in a fall. But otherwise, one of the most comfortable harnesses I have used.

This is great first harness. I have had mine for a few years. I bought it primarly for the price. Any one who is a beginning climber and is looking to buy a harness, this one will fit your needs and it's not too expensive. The leg loops are a little uncomfortable when hanging, but it is still a good all around harness.

This is a great first harness: affordable and padded. Its extremely durable anmd has lasted me a few years. Unfortunately the leg loop akwardly comes up the middle and makes tough bellays very uncomfortable.

This is a good first harness-- it's cheap, very adjustable, and good for most uses.
Unfortunately, it's not as comfortable as it looks. The leg loops are really inadequate for long hangs, the rear leg risers tend to come undone, and the lack of a belay loop in the front makes it so your not is always sliding off to the side and you're hanging at an angle.

Great harness for the bucks. It is exctreamly versitile which makes it a good first harness. When I finally upgraded I found that the cheaper bod was more comfterble. It made a great extra harness for friend due to the fact that it is sooo adjustable! Only down point is that it restricks your leg movement a little. It was fairly insignificant though.

I have the same harness. It is good for recreational purpouses only. If you tried any real climbing in it and you fell from a good heigth the plastic leg loop buckles would snap and you might go right trough it. If you ever get one get it from rei because when I bought mine from a local shop two weeks later I saw my harness for 35 dollars les than I got it for.

Like many others, this was my first harness. Great deal at $50 but not the most comfortable one out there. It feels a little restrictive and taking a fall in it can be down right painful. The fleece lining in the waist is somewhat comfy but it get you hot fast. Overall, a decent harness for beginners on a budget, but save up and go a step higher if you can.
