Overall great shoes but the heel kills your achilles until you break em in. But theyre great on cracks and good w/ bouldering . They are lace up so it takes longer to put em on. Not very good at smearing. Id suggest them though. Good quality shoes. But they got a pricy tag. Similar Products Used: None |

If you get the right fit, these shoes will really perform. I wore them around at work a bit to get through the break-in period (ouch). I've had them resoled twice, and they are still in good shape. They edge well, have a pointy toe for cracks, and with C4 they walk right up a slab. Some shoes probably perform better in specific instances (front pointing or heel hooking), but I've never felt limited by these shoes. Customer Service never needed it Similar Products Used: Boreal Vector, Five-Ten Summit, Scarpa Brio |

My Aces are 8 years old with three resoles. Every time I need a new resole I go new shoe shopping again, and come right back to the Aces-- the absolutely rule in cracks, perform acceptably well on faces (good on edges when soles are new), smear fine on slabs, and are comfortable enough for all day climbs (once they're broken in). They maintain their shape well after resoles due to the board lasts and canvas liners. Not a specialist shoe, but the closest thing I have found to an all-around high performer. These shoes are great! I've never felt comfier soles on climbing shoes and they don't move around at all. Excellent traction, but when it rains they're deadly. Keep 'em dry and you'll be happy! Customer Service Brian at customer service matched me up with the perfect shoes and was very helpful and nice. Similar Products Used: none |

I got these about 5 years ago from MEC for $140 CDN. After break-in, they are very comfortable. They perform well on almost everything I have tried them on. I've only very briefly tried other shoes, but I've seen nothing that I'd trade these in for for all-purpose climbing. Similar Products Used: None |

Best shoe I have ever owned! Very comfortable, you can wear it on multi pitch climbs with no sore feet. Good for most climbing. Quite durable, I am on my fifth resole! Similar Products Used: None |

These shoes are good for all around use, but certainly aren't for sport routes. I wore mine constantly...until I bought a pair of slippers. I find that it is very hard to get a good feel for the rock in these shoes, but they are comfortable to wear for the whole day. Similar Products Used: None |

I bought these shoes 2 years ago when i first began climbing and it took me a while to break them in. I have a problem with the stitching on my big toe. They are great for cracks and havent stretched at all. Similar Products Used: None |

Great shoe for hard edging, hand and larger size cracks. Not good for situations where you need to desperately grab with your toes on an overhang but it can be done if you got the desire and determination. Not good for smearing just edging. It's a trad shoe. I love them alot. The fit is great for me and I have wide feet, so keep that in mind when shopping for shoes. These are board lasted. Similar Products Used: Diablo, Stinger |

these shoes are very nice for grip, but I found that a size 12 was a tad too small and a 13 was too big. Also, they aren't wide enough for my feet. Other than minor fit problems, they work like a dream. Similar Products Used: just bought a pair of Climb High shoes. look for a review in several days after I have had a chance to try them. |
