Great vest! Stows compact. Expands to awesome warmth. Best use for me is for added unsulation on backpacking trips, and packs at night for a snoozing comfortable pillow. Perfect for these duties. Customer Service Non needed Similar Products Used: fleece vests, fiber-fill vests |

Great quality and very warm. My only complaint is that it is a vest. I purchased the Nuptse jacket shortly after the vest and almost always use the jacket. The weight saving are not worth the cold arms. But if you love vests, I would recommend this one. Great loft and comfort. Makes great additional sleeping insulation. Bought one of these a couple of years ago, and it still works great. Very warm. You just can't beat down for warmth -- as long as it stays dry. Have used it on a number of backpacking / mountaineering trips, and works well even when I'm really sweating. Similar Products Used: TAIGA down vest (TAIGA is a Canadian gear store. Their stuff is good, but lacks the drawstrings, ripstop shell, and down of equivalent fill power) |

Love the 2 side drawcords...others have one and you end up pulling out this long cord just to cinch the waist. Only suggestion would be perhaps elasticized arm opening cause I find drafts come into the shoulder area too easily. Overall....I look forward to winter season to wear this thing! One complaint....feathers still come out faster than expected. Vest is becoming deflated from lost of feathers all the time! Customer Service NF products still a leading innovator in the industry. I love wearing this vest. Easy to pack and easy to wear. Biggest down fall is that the feathers come out way to easily. Other than that, perfect vest for all weather conditions be it in on the trail or around town during the winter. Similar Products Used: None |

Really warm, stylie vest. I love vests and wear this daily for hikes or to add insulation to my sleeping bag. On windy days it gets ditches for a wind proof fleece jacket. Really warm under a shell and super light. Great vest over all; zippers shouldn't constantly eat the material on this nice of a garment though. Similar Products Used: None |

A totally decent vest. It is warm, reasonably light, and I always love the stow pocket. However, the zippers on the pockets are rather lame (they catch often) as I have found on a lot of TNF products. also, the hood: why? who wants a vest with a crappy little nylon hood? I do not understand, and never used mine once. otherwise, i was always quite happy with mine. I have since replaced it with a feathered friends helios, which i have found to be a far superior product, though at a somewhat higher price. The Nuptse, however, is a perfectly good vest, especially if you can get it on sale. Customer Service i have nothing to tell Similar Products Used: Feathered Friends Helios |

At first I thought this was the greatest piece of cloting ever invented. I love the warmth but I don't like having to wear a fleece all the time with it because my arms are cold. I wish the fit was better. I have a large and it fits well around the chest but the back is to short. I tried on the xl but it fit so loosly around the chest that cold air would have just been sucked in through the arm holes. It leaks to much to. Similar Products Used: None |

A decent vest, but I prefer the Denali fleece vest. Feathers seem to leak out too much, but it compacts well and lofts back up. Similar Products Used: TNF Denali fleece vest |

The cut of this vest is very comfortable. Plenty of room in the arm openings and nice coverage on the lower back. I wish Northface didn't advertise so prominently on their clothing. |
