Wonderful all mountain ski. Don''t know how one person bent the ski''s. Factory defect? Personel defect? I would highly recommend these Volkl G3 to anyone above novice. Ski is to lively for novice. Ski really does go anywhere. Similar Products Used: Many skiis over the years |

After seeing the number of slalom skis that were being sent in through the local ski shop I must have been drunk when I bought these skis!!! I have bent two pair with just some hard-ass skiing. Last time was in the moguls with fresh powder and when I unloaded from the chair, noticed that one tip was up. Couldn''t believe it!!!! No where the ski I had anticipated from the reviews! Customer Service Have to be good considering the number of skis they replace yearly! Similar Products Used: K2, Dynastar, Atomic(!!!!),Salomon, Volant, Head |

Classic Volkl quality ski, bends on the first real sign of hard skiing! Second pair in a year that have bent under pressure. Had them in the "crud" powder and when I came out to get back in it, looked down and the ski tip was bent up. Went through this with another pair. Not what I had hoped for, but considering the number of Volkl slalom skis that I saw the tips busted on, I should have expected it! Spend your money on something else! Customer Service Have to be good, considering the number of skis they have to replace yearly!!!! Similar Products Used: K2, Salomon, ATOMIC(!!), Dynastar, Head, Volant, Rossignol |

(This review is actually for the Volkl Vertigo Motion, which is really a Vertigo G3 packaged wit the Marker Titanium 1200 binding mounted on Volkl’s new rail system.) These skis rock! I just spent my first week on them at Sunday River, and they handled everything on the mountain beautifully! They were at their best in a few inches of fluffy powder, where they almost seemed to turn themselves, but they also held unbelievably well on everything from hard loose granular to sheer sheets of ice! I was able to literally cut across rock hard ice sheets, and to maintain control without difficulty. I frequently found myself on the lift after the particularly icy runs, shaking my head, amazed at how much grip these skis had on the ice. The edges simply held on everything, regardless of how hard or steep it was. They were stable at speed, and they make a great “tinging” sound as they run across the hard stuff (hope I don’t get sick of it after awhile! :-) Quick in the bumps, but also happy to make long, carving turns as well. Bottom line: read the reviews on this ski, both here and elsewhere. They do everything that Volkl and the Ski Magazine and web site reviewers say they do. Quick, responsive, powerful, stable - everywhere. You will attack terrain with more confidence and control just by getting on these skis. Similar Products Used: Rossignol Bandit XX, K2 Patriot |

The G3 wants to go - now!! If you think about turning, it turns. It builds power on edge and releases it quickly and evenly onto the next. The ski holds an edge like I''ve never seen or felt. It grips like a sports car. It''s at home in the bumps and is stable on the fly - no chatter whatsoever. The only downside I noticed was it is not very "damp". It definitely lets you know what''s underfoot. Once you get used to that "feel", it inspires confidence and a bit of awe. Similar Products Used: K2 Seth Morrison, Rossi Viper X |

WOW! These are the greatest skis I''ve ever used! After six years off skis (in Hawaii), my skills declined from advanced to mere intermediate when I started up again on my old straight Authier 195''s. I demoed the Vertigo G3''s (my introduction to shaped skis), and I''m was immediately back at the advanced level! I bought a pair, and they haven''t let me down. They''re great for everything from cruiser runs to steep mogul runs, whether it''s hard-packed, powder, cut-up powder, or crud. The G3 is truly an all-mountain, go anywhere, do anything ski! They will take you to the next level and make you feel like a 20-something (if you''re over 35, as I am). Similar Products Used: Nothing remotely similar! These are so much better than anything else I''ve ever tried! |

These skis kick ass. They can go everywhere, hold an edge like you wouldn''t believe. They explode out of turns, and can habdle anything. They can do any kind of turn gs or slalom, and the controll is unbelieveable. They can scream straight downhill, and are unbelievably stable even oc ice and in crud. They can turn faster than me. Its almost like they can sense what you wnat them to do before you decide. These are the best skis ive ver used. They are just as fast as XScreams and turn even better. I love these skis!
