They stay safe and not need for racks way up on top. I used to have the 15 foot Cobra Tourer which felt the same but has a well behind the seat, nice for scuba gear of cooler but I don't need it. Also Cobra has the 10 inch cubby hatch between your legs which the Prism does not but Prism has a cup holder in the same spot. The other neat feature of Prism is the foot rest adjustabel pegs. I've got a one sixty six ambush thats a blast to ride at mind blowing speeds. I would prefer a shorter board for the trees, but this thing rocks the wide open bowls of the rockies. Even after four full seasons, this baby is just worked in. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention to stay out of the park on this speed demon. lol Customer Service Customer satisfaction guaranteed. AMBUSH, the name says it all. This board is all about speed and control, definately unforgiving and will get the best of you if you let it. Its definately a solid choice for riders that want to up the ante in their all mountain riding. Customer Service just your usual upkeep Similar Products Used: burton, salamon, and rossi |

had this board for a while now (ambush 164 ) and am still amazed at its versitilaty. I only rode a handful of hire boards before buying it but after the first day of getting used to the speed and control at high speed, my boarding just continues to improve. This board will give you the confidance to push yourself further than you thought you would go. I cannot recomend it highly enough. I will start of with the Ambush is an average board All-Mountain board, but an outstanding purchase for the advanced beginner. Good all-around board for the average rider- ok in powder, nice on the groomed, serviceable in the park.

1. Made in China. 2. Surface of deck began peeling off after four days of riding. 3. Seems less durable than previous board (Palmer). 4. Rides fine. If I had it to do over again I'd try to find a board made in the USA instead of China. |

this board is straight up fierce, it floats high and fast in the pow and burns baby burns on the groomers. the other ambush reviews are dead on...this ride is totally stiff and mean and most definately not for beginners. a bit heaver than usual, and sucks in the park, but it's not built for tricks anyway. kick ass in the bowls, and even cruises right thru flats when others are huffing and pushing to find some gravity. don't ride with your friends on this board, you'll lose 'em in ten seconds. Customer Service never needed it Similar Products Used: salomon forecast |

I'm primarily a skier and this is the first snowboard I have owned, but I have tried quite a few other boards owned by my friends. I decided to go with this board because it is wide, long (I have the 164cm), somewhat stiff and very fast. I think this board is perfect for mountain riding, it can tear up the groomers but it really shines in powder. Beginners beware though, this board is FAST, it picks up speed very quickly and can really give you a beating if you can't control it. I had a rude awakening after getting too used to riding my friends burton freestyle board which is short and slow compared to the ambush, once I learned to control the ambush I found it to be very stable at high speeds though.
