After riding a 158 Custom for a few years, I wanted a bigger powder board to take out west. After demo'ing the Ambush in Colorado, I was pretty quickly sold. This board rides like a magic carpet through the pow! Here out east, I'm still surprised a year later at the edge hold and speed on this board. It took a while for me to trust this board and stop hitting the brakes on fast runs, but it hardly ever fails to hold edge, even on the bumpy and cruddy slopes of the NE. This board is very stiff, super fast and definitely requires some skill to ride--beginners beware! Overall, a very solid board.
