This board is amazing. I have the 2007 model 158 as im in Australia and they bring out next years models early. I also ride a K2 zeplin and in terms of speed and responsivness the timeless is in a league of its own. Its incredibly fast, like nothing i have ever ridden before and as most people have said its stable as a rock. I didnt find it hard work as others claim, at times i found it easier to ride.

The Timeless 161 is an amazing board. Stiff and responsive and willing to go just about anywhere. I've got mine set up with Flow Amp 5 bindings, and all I have to do is think about redirection and the response is instantaneous. The floatation and carve-ability is outstanding in powder, and it is an absolute rocket on groomers and pack. It is a board that beckons you to push it faster, and reassures you with its ability to hold an edge. My only minor misgiving would be that it's a bit stiff in moguls, but this may only be evidence of my limitations. I wouldn't recommend this board to a first time rider, but if you've got a couple of seasons under your belt this Ride will pay huge dividends.

03-04 Timeless 164 I have been riding for twenty years, on tons of boards and this is the fastest I board I have ridden. Not only is it fast but very smooth, controlled, and percise. Edge hold is second to none. The confidence this deck inspires has allowed me to do whatever wherever I want to do regardless of terrain or changes in snow. Pop off a lip and feel the boost power of the Timeless, but the board lands very stable and damped. I liken the feel to a progressively wound spring. The only negative I can say about this board is that if you are a lazy type ridder who doesn't drive their boards this is not the board for you. You have to be able to commit to the Timeless and it will pay you back in a big way.

Strength:

It will go as fast as you would ever want it to!!!!!

Weakness:

Takes a lot of muscle to handle it on steep bumpy terein, but what board doesnt? But scince it is so responsive, it does beat your legs after a while.

It is a sick board. Incredably fast and stable. I came frong a burton custom. All i have to say, Custom is slopping and loose. Timeless is increadably tight, sharp and handles like its on rails. But definatly not for weak riders, like most said. It is a lot of work riding this board, its a killer on the thieghs. I usualy mtn bike in the off season, i couldnt this year, and my theighs killed, after half a die riding. So if you want htis board you had better be in good shape, and have ripped legs. at slow speeds it takes a lot of leg to flip it around, but its definatly managable, and worth it for the high speed stuff. I blow past all of my friends, including another custom, a tempest, and a spitfire.

Strength:

it is very stabile at high speeds and does not chatter at all.

Weakness:

the aluminum tail tip fell off after landing a huge jump. i would question its durability...but i do really punish this thing with some crazy spills. word of advice for those techies at Ride; make sure to make your boards as durable as a Toyota, especially your high end ones like the Timeless.

this board is like a BMW M3. it handles and controls like one. its also a looker.

Strength:

FAST, holds an edge anywhere, quiet, tight graphics, fun in the park, misty cap is tight as hell lookin

Weakness:

not so good in pow, but what the hell do i know, i ski in southern indiana.

Man, this board is great. I came off of a Liquid Vortex 163 and went to this Timeless 156. What a difference. This thing does laps around the competition. It takes it to a whole nother level. Definately recommend it. Pretty good in the park so far. Like a bat outa hell on the fast groomers. I got it as a previous year model for half the price, i had to get it

Strength:

Performance man yeah. The width and stiffness are ideal for speed.

Weakness:

Doesn't seem to have the durability you would expect from this high end a board.

High performance board, feels great at speed, expecially for being so light. But had problems with delamination, and had the tail break with a bigger landing. Great board to ride but not worth that much dosh. (note:price is $NZD)

Strength:

Fast! Very stable at high speeds Awesome carving ability Easily manipulated and super responsive

Weakness:

Maybe a little too stiff, but I think it will just take getting used to. Doesn't keep me from doing anything I want to do.

This review pertains to the 2002-03 Timeless 159 . . . I purchased this board new at the end of the 2002-03 season and use it with 2002-03 Flow FL19 bindings and 2002-03 Vans Daniel Franck boots. I've had it on the slopes 10 times so far this season and am extremely impressed with its performance. Its rock-solid handling has increased my confindence and carving-ability on steep inclines tremendously. It has a wicked fast base that lets me blow by other riders as if they were standing still -- especially on flats. I think you would be hard pressed to find a faster, more stable freeriding board. I've taken my Timeless over the big jump about 20 times so far, and user error aside, it performs nicely. Although it's a very stiff board, it handles landings quite comfortably. Overall, a really slick stick -- I feel as if I traded in my station wagon for a Ferrari (seriously). By the way, I highly recommend the boots and bindings, too.

Strength:

FAST! Lightweight, stiff, good control, nice subtle graphics up top, and bloody "timeless" on the bottom.

Weakness:

stay away from the pipe if you don't wanna launch yourself into orbit.

This board flies! Not for the faint of heart. If you can't handle scary fast, this board ain't for you! Made me a better rider, and i have a lot to learn before i live up to the potential of this board. i use ride team bindings, and burton freestyle boots (ion md's are on their way!).
