Believe it. This board is amazing. Handles so well, and the metal tips help from scraping on rocks and ish. It is perfect for spring riding.

Strength:

Great pop, lightweight, carves like a champ, fast!

Weakness:

Not for beginners of anyone who doesn't like to go fast.

This Board is SICK! Its a big step up from my old 98'158 K2 Eldorado and 164 Burton Bullet. Carves like no other, and despite what everyone says it holds up fairly well in deep powder. Another thing i wear a size 12 boot and everyone says your toes scrape when toeside but it isn't true, I haven't had a problem w/ it so far. Great pop and landing, turns on a dime at the highest of speeds. Lighter than any other board i've ever ridden. Best I've had yet! Anyone who doesn't like this board is crazy!

Strength:

Great board on all terrain, despite the weight.

Weakness:

a little heavy with those flow pro c bindings.

I have to review board, boots, and bindings all together as i think they all contribute to the performance. All-in-all it was top notch. first off the board was fast and cornered like it was on rails. I think I just couldn't perform up to the level of my set up. It was a bit heavy, with the board and the Flow pro-c bindings, and the vans jamie lynn boots. longer runs could drain me over the course of the afternoon/night. on the plus side the board would just bust through the crud - it IS kinda heavy. but i could easily stop on a dime even on the steepests 60% grade black diamond runs. The weight kind of caught me knee deep in powder a couple of times, but mostly because i had to try and stop for other people trapped in it. with a clear shot on a run i had scooped out at least once it wasn't so much of a problem. I didn't have much of a problem getting air, i could over come the weight disadvantage by adding speed. The board will fly. however that extra speed made some landings a bit dicey that first year. I mellowed out last year and did a little less "blast off" on the table tops. Also i could 360 from a straight standing position - so it can't be all that heavy (those bindings weigh a ton). when it comes to control i felt like my feet were nailed to the board. over all it was much better than any thing else i had ridden.

Strength:

POP! POP! POP! POP! POP! POP! POP!

Weakness:

Every review says this board sucks in the powda, i think it well for a short board like mine

I have the Ride Timeless 148.It is an awesome board. It is super poppy off tabletops. Not too much flex on rails. A way better board than a "trendy forum".

Strength:

super stiff, great edges, rides new core kills chatter...it's great

Weakness:

the stance is too wide, also for a freeride board, the bindings should be set back...these are some problems that really suck, especially in the powder...but it's still a great board.

great board...anyone looking for a new board wouldn't go wrong w/a timeless.

Strength:

Lightweight, the bord is not that flexable but its good for getting higher ollies and better landings. Cool graphics. the bottom of this board is great because if you want to melt wax on it, it absorbs it into the base. all you have to do is make sure its even.

Weakness:

i didnt really get a chance to get this board in the powder but i hear that its not that great. but other than the powder there are no weaknesses.

This is really a 2003 board. 161, lightweight, FAST, and this is a really nice looking board.

Strength:

Strong and stiff, carves very well and hammers the crud.

Weakness:

Lacking powder performance....need to put bindings back to improve this. At the end of the season I swear my right leg (I ride regular) is noticbly bigger than my left from keeping most of my weight on it all the time.

Over all I'd say the Timeless is an excellent board. I have 2 at the moment...a 167 and year before lasts 177. I'm a big boy (6'3" 220lb's) so I need a pretty stiff board and the Timeless is definetly that. You can just pound through the crud with this board like nothing else. My main complaint is that I'm not really impressed with its ability as a powder board. I really have to lay back on the board to keep the nose up even on my 177. Several times I've had the thing do a nose dive on me when I got lazy and didn't keep my weight back far enough. It helps alot to put the bindings back though.
