An extremely light and versatile bag. Seems to be really popular too. I bought this bag about 3 years ago and have used it for sleeping at a friend's house to some early spring backpacking in the Northeast. It's been warm and dry everytime. Only complaint was my mistake of buying a right hand zipped version when I normally sleep on my left side, but even with that drawback, I've been warm on cold nights with my back zipper side. For $150 it's a great deal.

Customer Service

The North Face's service has been pretty good, like the lifetime warranty...

I have been using this bag for 7 years now, and I have been impressed with is quality. It doesn't seem as warm as it used to, but hey its been 7 years. I have used it for lots of summer backpacking, and even some snow caving (with a fleece liner). The zipper tends to snag a lot, I don't know if they have fixed that by now though. Thats my only real complaint so, a nice bag.

Great three season bag at a price point. It compresses very well in a compression bag, is quite light and plenty warm. I am very happy with it and bought one for the old ball and chain as well. Mine is a tall version, and so am I. Good product, good price and wears well.

Customer Service

North Face charges a 20 or thirty dollar sevice fee for repairing things under warranty. most problems I have had with their products were repaired cheaper locally without the added expense and hassle of sending it off.

This bag is great because it is so warm. I slept on the ice in the witer and it kept me toasty warm. I would never buy anything but Northface because it's the best. The loft on this bag is amazing. filling also stays in if it is cut or torn.

The Cat's Meow is probably the best bag I have used for 2-3 day trips back country camping. The 3D insulation is nice since it still keeps you warm if it is a little damp. The only thing I find less than perfect is the pack size. I can't really fault the bag for pack size, since the 3D insulation limits how small it packs down.

Customer Service

The North Face has what I believe to be the best customer service in the industry. They truly stand behind their lifetime guarantee on every product they have ever made. Luckily, I have only had to find out once, but it's nice to know it's there if you need it.

The Cat's Meow is a fantastic selection for anyone doing most of their camping in the 15-45 degree range. I am a cold sleeper and have been warm in snow flurries while rock climbing and during gale force winds sleeping outside of a tent while backpacking. It is light, packs well, and is very comfortable. I am 5'1" so, it is very hard to find a bag small enough for me, but the Cat's Meow comes in many sizes. If you catch it on sale online, you can get it for a lot cheaper than the $159 retail.

I use a Hennesy hammock instead of a tent and as a result on even mildly cool nights I get a cold backside from the air passing underneath. This bag really helps to prevent that. Plus the material is tough, which helps when I decide to get in and out of the hammock while still in the bag.

This bag has been a dependable friend for 4 years now. Very durable (not a rip yet) and sometimes too warm. Nice for weekend getaways or week long retreats. I'd recomend one to anyone.

I have had the Cat's Meow now for a few years and it has held up well. Very comfy, and extremely warm, definitely too warm for Spring, and early Fall. You may find yourself breaking out in a sweat even while sleeping on top of the bag. I am tall, and bought the long version, (recommended for you tall people) and it has served me well.

I own the womans version of this sleeping bag. I slept in this bag every night for the first few months that I owned it as it was like sleeping in a cloud. I have used this bag not only on camping trips, but out on my commercial fishing boat in Alaska. I have gone to sleep in my bag damp from the fishiong clothes, yet I would wake up dry. Better yet, I can always get the fishy smell out of the bag when I finish my fishing season!

Customer Service

I have not had to send my bag in for any repairs etc, but I have sent in other clothing items, The North Face is a wonderful company to work with, always quick and very polite.
